Knitted Owl - Free Pattern

I'm sure you've seen this knitted owl somewhere on the internet before. And if you're like me and want to know how to do it: I tried some things and today I want to share the pattern with you :)

Before you start knitting: This pattern is for ROUND KNITTING. So, you can use it for cowls, mittens, bootcuffs, pillows, vase covers or other knitting projects for knitting in the round.

For those of you that prefer the written version of a pattern, I will give that to you as well:

Row 1-2: purl.
Row 3: p4, C4B, p7, C4F, p4
Row 4: p3, C4B, p9, C4F, p3
Row 5: p3, k3, 6[p1, k1], k2, p3
Row 6: p3, k2, 7[p1, k1], k1, p3
Row 7-14: repeat rows 5 and 6 four more times
Row 15: as row 5
Row 16: p5, C4B, p1, k1, p1, k1, p1, C4F, p5
Row 17-21: p5, k13, p5
Row 22: p5, C6B, k1, C6F, p5
Row 23-24: p5, k3, p7, k3, p5
Row 25-26: purl.

When you've finished, add some buttons or something similar for the eyes. And there you go!

Have fun! :)
